Responsible for driving room sales performance and overseeing the effectiveness of the Sales and Marketing team. Lead and guide the sales team to achieve the hotel's business objectives. Accountable for monthly room revenue budgeting, optimizing market segmentation strategies, and managing distribution channels. Ensure successful implementation and execution of sales and marketing strategies to maximize revenue and operational efficiency. Responsibilities Develop Annual Sales and Marketing Plan in accordance to budget approved by Management. Produce Month End Report to Hotel Manager/Area General Manager, reporting on monthly achievements, action plans and forecast for the next three months, citing necessary strategies to be taken. Develop Marketing Programs for Corporate segments. Set sales targets for Sales Managers on a quarterly basis and monitor the progress of individual salespeople. Develop new opportunities, review accounts and promotional programs etc. Monitor sales coverage through precise planning in sales territory of respective salespersons. Rate administration (all segments) in accordance to approved rate structures. Set and negotiate contracted rates for wholesalers, tour operators, travel agencies and airlines through review of competitive data, demand analysis and mix management. Review and approve rates, upgrades and complimentary requests from sales managers. Responsible for day-to-day running of the Sales & Marketing Department, authorizing purchases related directly to the operation of the Sales and Marketing Department. Supervise the corporate segment's performance via on-the-job sales training, joint calls, entertainment, sales blitz exercises and participation in direct sales activities. Revise and complete sales team performance evaluations. Conduct regular briefings with the commercial sales team to update sales calls, clients' feedback and review problem areas Service own portfolio of foreign accounts in line with division of overseas markets. Organize activities in promoting client loyalty. Participate in sales trips, trade fairs and convention events. Manage/direct all advertising, public relations and promotional activities. Undertake any other duties as may be assigned by his/her superiors diligently and professionally. Requirements Diploma or Degree in Hospitality or Tourism. Strong understanding of hotel revenue management, sales strategies, and marketing principles. Proven experience in managing corporate segments and international accounts. Ability to analyse market performance, forecast trends, and set strategic goals. Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills. Willingness to travel for sales trips, trade fairs, and conventions. Show more Show less
