Then read on.About the RoleResponsible for accounting and reporting of Corporate Solution (“CS”) and AIA Health Services Sdn. Bhd. (“AHS”) in a timely manner in accordance to established accounting standard.Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for preparing and ensure timely completion of monthly/quarterly/yearly reports, listings and management reports for CS business of AIA Bhd. and AHS.
  • Responsible for accurate and timely submission of financial templates to Group Office on IFRS, Local Reporting Team for Bank Negara Submission and preparing the local statutory reports for AHS, including annual financial statements.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reconciliation of accounts and investigate and resolve discrepancies.
  • Perform reviews on variance analysis of the monthly financial results and proactive liaise with other departments to obtain information to substantiate the results.
  • Implement initiatives to improve processes and collaborate across departments to ensure that new initiatives incorporate sound financial controls and efficient processes whilst meeting business need for responsible areas.
  • Responsible to perform Project/System enhancement UAT for GL postings and Finance reports.
  • Perform other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by supervisor.
Minimum Job Requirements:
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma and Professional Degree in Accounting and Finance with at least 2 years of relevant working experience.
  • Computer literate with proficiency in MS Excel, Power Point and SAP are added advantage
  • Able to work independently and in a team with good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Possess good analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Able to work with minimal supervision in a team and work under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Possess good presentation skills to clearly articulate any abnormalities in reporting numbers/data
