- Manage the corporate month-end accounting process.
- Prepare the Group’s consolidated financial statements in accordance to Malaysian Accounting Standard Board.
- Consolidate the Group budget for the management reporting pack.
- Prepare the Board reporting pack.
- Manage the monthly variance analysis and providing constructive commentary on the financial performance.
- Liaise with external auditors and resolve any issues raised by the external auditors during the annual audit.
- Report quarterly income statement of the Group to the Board.
- Monitor the cash flow and bank borrowing position of the Group and report monthly to the Board.
- Manage secretarial matters of the Group.
- Perform corporate tax planning.
- Train and supervise accountants and junior accounting staff for their performance.
- Attend top management meetings on group and company levels.
- Inform and assist the Board to comply with the statutory requirements.
- Perform other related duties to benefit the mission of the organisation.
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy / Finance.
- Preference will be given to holders of Master’s Degree in Management Accounts.
- Minimum five (5) years of working experience in Senior Accountant role at corporate level.
- Preferably a chartered accountant and/or candidate who possess professional qualification (ACCA / CPA / ICAEW / MICPA etc.)
- Knowledgeable in corporate finance, accounts, banking, income tax and company secretarial matters with good management and analytical skills.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
