JOB PURPOSE Implement approved MMHE Business Support Unit Application projects from the ICT Master Plan, including in-house applications, ERP, EDMS, and project solutions to improve operations and productivity. Provide functional and 2nd-level technical support (front-end and remote) for in-house applications under the supervision of the System Analyst to minimise disruptions. Investigate reported issues, identify and document root causes, and provide solutions. Translate business requirements into software specifications based on stakeholder needs. Contribute technical and business insights to support MMHE's operations. Identify application errors, initiate escalation processes, and coordinate with 3rd-level support (internal and external) when required. Update system documentation and assist in preparing UAT scripts and user training manuals. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Provide ICT application 2nd level support for incident reported, if unresolved escalate to the next level of support and track the progress of incident resolution to minimize business and project disruption. Perform business requirement study based on the users' request and corporate business strategy to identify feasible IT applications to be implemented to support the business and project requirements. Conduct the business case requirement and justification study to justify the IT initiatives/projects are in line with business and project requirements. Perform and coordinate the development of the application system from gap analysis, functional and technical specification, and detailed design, including unit and systems integration testing as per users' specification. Analyze and perform IT change request for system improvements and provide alternative solutions to resolve users' concern for smooth system operations. Perform the implementation of IT systems maintenance such as application fixes and upgrades to improve system functionality, availability, and reliability to minimise system downtime as well as business disruptions. Enforce appropriate IT Infrastructure policies and procedures in compliance with MISC Group IT Infrastructure policy and procedures. Self-discovery and develop the development plan to improve motivation, competency, and leadership skills in line with triple plus in the Corporate Agenda. REQUIREMENT Diploma in IT or any related discipline. A minimum of 3 years' experience in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) environment. Strong knowledge in System Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Basic programming knowledge (any language) and basic TSQL command is a must. Experience in Oil and Gas industry will be an added advantage.
