We have much room for improvement and many ideas that will further shape the industry.This role will be within the Fulfilment business, housed under Logistics+ in Ninja Van. Ninja Van aims to expand its portfolio of services, by offering fulfilment services to existing and new customers in the region. This role will be crucial in ensuring that the fulfilment business grows and scales quickly in the coming years by taking control of operational processes that are involved in the fulfilment process. At the same time, this role will also involve assessing and optimizing all operational flows related to fulfilment, in order to bring costs down to a reasonable level to ensure the department is profitable.Responsibilities
  • Identifying inefficiencies or bottlenecks in fulfilment processes that contribute to increased costs. This can involve analysing data related to order processing times, picking and packing operations, inventory management practices, or transportation route to help the company save costs.
  • Analysing and documenting existing processes within the fulfilment business. This involves mapping out workflows, steps, and interactions to gain a comprehensive understanding of how things currently operate.
  • Evaluating the efficiency and effectiveness of current processes. Examples would be examining process metrics, gathering data on cycle times, error rates, resource utilization, and customer feedback to identify bottlenecks, pain points, and areas for improvement.
  • Process redesigning and optimisation. This may involve reengineering workflows, simplifying steps, eliminating non-value-added activities, and enhancing process automation in an effort to reduce costs.
  • Communicating process changes, providing training and guidance, and facilitating the adoption of new processes and tools. This includes addressing resistance to change and ensuring smooth transitions.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry best practices, emerging trends, and process improvement methodologies. This involves researching and benchmarking against other organizations to bring in innovative ideas and strategies.
Requirement
  • A Bachelor's degree with experience in operations/processes, or any relevant field
  • Fulfilment is advantageous, but not required.
  • Strong analytical skills, problem solver.
