We respect diversity in our people: their ideas, work styles and perspectives as well as offering flexibility to ensure employees enjoy a satisfying balance of work and personal life.POSITION PURPOSEAs an Application Officer (AO) at IDP Malaysia, you will be responsible for reviewing and processing applications collected by Education Counsellors for the academic entry requirements.The AO will verify and assess student applications as part of the overall admissions process on behalf of the Education Counsellors. The role will involve in liaising between the university clients and counsellors when pre-determining eligibility based on entry requirements provided by the university and do not involve any communication with students.The role requires one to provide excellent and professional communication with external stakeholders and offer constructive feedback when necessary. The role will also be involved in events, exhibitions, and promotions of IDP and its affiliates/ clients.Based in Kuala Lumpur, the role will be initially to support Kuala Lumpur UK team and later incorporate Subang Jaya team.ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- To process and assess student applications in accordance with the client’s admissions policies and guidelines
- Ensure that application assessment service is delivered in line with client protocols
- Verifying and checking applicant information and documents including English language results, academic certificates and transcripts, documents on personal information and any other requirements as outline by the client
- Ensure university clients’ enquiries are answered and assisted promptly and effectively
- Ensure data integrity is always maintained
- Ensure timey turnaround is maintained for all applications according to agreed KPIs
- Ensure client communication is positive, constructive, and professional
- Accepting, organizing and checking application documents for each applying institutions for each students and complete submission via relevant platform (UCAS, Application Portal, Agent Portal).
- Updating all application details on C4C.
- Following up on Offer and CAS.
- Arranging accommodation, airport pickup, etc. for students.
- Assisting counsellors in administrative tasks (visa applications, enrolments, student data update, filing).
- Provide SES products (Money Transfer, Accommodation choices & other new products coming onboard and relevant to MD).
- Other task assigned by supervisor/line manager.
- Competent computer skills
- Competent knowledge of payment procedures.

- Competent knowledge of UKVI rules and regulations.
- Maintain friendly & professional relationships with all stake holders including universities, local service providers & counsellors.
- Common goal of achieving set targets in terms of student recruitment numbers.
- Attending to student demands and making appropriate recommendations to institutions.
- Dealing with problems and complaints professionally.
- Communicating with respective UK institutions.

- Bachelor’s or equivalent degree
- Industry knowledge preferred. Preferably working in international education sector, having prior experience in assisting students with United Kingdom and Ireland visas
