- Supporting Sales team in building and managing customer base across Malaysia, particularly for Government, Telco, Enterprise and SME Sectors
- Assisting Sales team in building and maintaining healthy sales pipeline via funnel management
- Applying innovation and creativity in addressing changing requests/demands from internal and external stakeholders to meet KPIs
- Assist Senior Sales Director to develop Sales Strategy and Revenue Forecast for related products and solutions
- Perform market analysis and feedback to support product development efforts for related products and solutions
- Work closely with (i) Sales team to align on opportunities within Malaysia to avoid Sales/Channel conflict and assess cross selling / upselling opportunities; (ii) Customer Engineering teams in terms of pre and post-sales support, including service commissioning; and (iii) Business Development to customize product offering / pricing where necessary
- Identify sales pipeline / opportunities and develop strategy (consistent with MGB Group's strategy) to convert pipelines / opportunities into sales to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Assist preparation of reports for Sales Directors as required on (i) sales report, including list of customers (existing, new sales pipelines), contract value and terms, backlog etc.; (ii) market updates/ assessments; and (iii) any operational issues.
- Liaise and coordinate with internally within the Company to ensure prompt delivery on customer requirements;
- Manage resellers and customer accounts which include on-boarding, contract management, invoicing and debtor aging;;
- Identify and develop processes to support reseller models, distribution channels, direct sales.
- Assist Sales Directors on proposal building together with support from Customer Engineering and other departments on a timely manner.
- Ensuring all customers and potential customers information is captured and kept up-to-date;
- Prepare and submit weekly sales report on time;
- Provide regular update on competitor's activities
- Ensure service orders, purchase requisitions and contracts are processed on a timely basis
- Sales-focused in nature
- Extensive customer visits and traveling is required to perform the work
- Minimum [5] years working experience and with sales-specific experience in Telecommunications
- Tele-sales, e-commerce, enterprise solution sales background preferred
- Technical knowledge especially in satellite services and networking would be a plus point
- Education background in engineering / computer science would be an added advantage
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Power Point
