We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our Finance team. This role is ideal for someone with solid hands-on accounting and reporting experience who thrives in a deadline-driven environment. You will work closely with the Finance Manager and support both routine and ad-hoc finance operations, including month-end closing, audit support, tax, and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities Perform monthly and quarterly financial closings, including journal entries, accruals, and intercompany reconciliations. Prepare and maintain accurate general ledger and financial reports to support internal and external reporting requirements. Assist in the preparation of quarterly Bursa announcements, board meeting materials, and management reporting packs. Handle day-to-day finance operations, including payments, bank reconciliations, and staff claims. Liaise with auditors, tax agents, company secretary, and other external parties during audit, tax filing, and other compliance matters. Support SST compliance and preparation, including SST submissions and related documentation. Assist with the implementation and compliance of e-invoicing requirements and other regulatory changes. Maintain proper documentation and records in accordance with internal control policies. Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the finance function. Requirements Diploma or Degree in Accounting / Finance or part-qualified professional (ACCA, CPA, etc.). 2-5 years of relevant working experience in accounting or finance. Experience in handling monthly closing and preparing management reports. Familiar with SST, audit, and tax matters. Experience in listed company reporting or knowledge of Bursa requirements is an added advantage. Strong attention to detail, able to meet deadlines, and work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to read/write/speak Mandarin OR Japanese is essential. Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with SQL accounting system is a plus.
