  • Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma.
  • At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in soft furnishing / building materials and related field is required for this position.
  • Required language(s): English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia
  • Strong Interpersonal skills the ability to negotiate. Good writing and verbal Communications abilities with all levels are required.
  • Able to handle oversea and local purchase and documentations. Good knowledge of shipping documentations.
  • Self-motivated, able to prioritize work and multi tasking, work well independently and as a team.
Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the ongoing procurement and sourcing activities that could generate more cost saving for the company and improve effectiveness.
  • Enhances work integration with other departments to meet customer delivery requirements.
  • To build strong working relationship with suppliers, vendors, freight forwarders and support team to ensure that orders are fulfilled on time.
  • To negotiate better pricing and freight rates for cost optimization / Material / Freight cost / COGS savings.
  • To coordinate with all forwarders/courier companies to ensure on time delivery for all shipments to warehouse / final destination for direct shipments.
  • To handle freight issues (if any) and resolve best delivery / freight to safe guard cost and on time deliveries.
  • Match our POs against Suppliers' invoices and freight cost, duties by forwarder's and courier charges invoices for importing goods to ensure matching then forward to Account & Finance Dept for payment.
  • To support customers for both pre-sales and post-sales matter.
  • To prepare quotation for the customer
  • To monitor and liaise with other related departments for timely delivery
  • To monitor and follow up for payment and process other payment related matter
  • To assist sales personnel on sales related matter
