We are currently seeking a Finance Systems Executive to join our team based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.Successful candidates would be offered a fixed term of employment.About The Role:The Financial Systems Executive will assist the Finance Systems Controller in monthly and daily duties. By helping, to manage and operate the Oracle ERP system. Provide support and working closely with the Finance and Accounts Team to ensure its effective operation and to deliver a high-quality service to the wider business.The Finance Systems Executive needs to be open with learning new things and be able to think outside the box, to assist in analyzing the financial information needs by reviewing existing systems and working out the best way forward to ensure the system are being used optimally and that the financial reporting is meeting the team's and organization's needs.Responsible for ensuring comprehensive business requirements are documented, test plans are written, and testing is conducted prior to new systems or changes being implemented. Work with finance and other teams to ensure new processes and financial systems are implemented into the organization i.e. document procedures, provide relevant training and communications.

Must be comfortable with technology and able to learn new software quickly
Manage the system closing process and coordinate with teams according to the monthly closing calendar
Day-to-day systems support, dealing with the system exceptions and resolve issues
Manage and monitor the daily scheduled requests that running smoothly in the system
Finance systems support to the Finance and Accounting teams as the first level of support to resolve the issue
Maintain the PA and GL journal upload templates, eg. update latest COA, Interco, project listing
Management of the Project Creation Wizard, e.g. user accounts and approval workflow etc
Provide support for Master Data Management eg. customers, projects, employee
Raise new requirements when there are new change to be updated in the system, it may involve the documentation for new process, training materials, test plans etc
Raise Incident tickets when needed and work closely with the IT Support team in resolving the issue
Ensure compliance with internal controls, regulations accounting policies and procedures
Work is generally reviewed at completion for accuracy and soundness
Support any ad-hoc tasks as assigned
Solid understanding of software development lifecycle concepts
Work together and closely with the Finance Systems Control team

Profile Requirements:

User front end experience with an ERP (eg. Oracle, SAP, IFS, etc)
Knowledge with Microsoft Applications eg. Excel, Word, Sharepoint, etc
A Bachelor's degree in IT, Accounting, Business or Finance
Minimum of 1-2 years of financial and systems application experience
Ability to liaise and communicate effectively with stakeholders on relevant issues
Fluent in English
Detail oriented
Independent and able to manage tight deadlines
Team Player
