Designer - Freelance (Petaling Jaya)

• Design various elements, mockups and materials for both print and digital collaterals.
• Participate in design discussions and give feedback during planning and strategy meetings.
• Work on a wide range of projects and media, using various design software programs to visualize and develop innovative designs that meet business goals.
• Obtain input from managers to ensure that designs meet organizational standards and brand expectations, express ideas accurately, and represent the company or client appropriately.
• Work independently as well as cooperatively with the team to meet deadlines.
• Ensure final graphics align with brand guidelines.
• Keep up to date with the best practices, tools and trends in the industry.

• One or more years of experience in professional graphic and digital design, preferably with a creative or marketing agency
• Diploma (or equivalent) in graphic design, digital design, art, or related discipline
• Proficiency in design tools including Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and After Effects
• Experience in the design thinking process and working in a collaborative team environment.
• Strong knowledge of current digital design best practices.
• A good understanding of visual design principles.
• A strong eye for visual composition.
• Good interpersonal skills
• Strong portfolio showing the breadth of design capabilities.
• Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to cope with several projects simultaneously
• Able to give and receive constructive criticism.
• Understanding of marketing, production, website design, corporate identity, product packaging, advertisements, and multimedia design.
• Good and fluent communication skills
