Retail Sales Assistant (based in Sandakan)

Purpose of the position
  • The success incumbent is to ensure the effectiveness and smoothness of day to day Sales
Centre operations. * Through the effective customer-focused engagement, ensure customer service level is sustainably met and improved
  • Process all sales and stock management, administration, maintain all commercial standards to Linde standards in particular controlling: o Balancing of Cash
  • Stock Management: SAP vs. Physical
  • Cylinder TA scanning is fully adhered to.
Distribution management
  • Ensure all diveries from Sales Centres are safely carried out to meet customer demand
  • Actively communicate with supplying plants or planner to ensure timely stock replenishment and empty return
  • Meet distribution KP| and annual target
Safety
  • Work to Gases standards as detailed on LiMS, achieve Zero injury, actively promote safety information and safe working practise to our customers
  • Ensure all transport safety standards are implemented based on LiMSS standards.
  • Ensure forklift and cylinder manual handling safety procedures are fully adhered to.
  • Be an informed source of processes, products, and their application for customers.
Principal responsibilities
  • Customer-focused, ensuring sales performance and profitability of sales center is optimized.
  • Stock management: Ensure that the detail outlet core/extended ranges and gases together with any products needed by customers on a local basis are managed to maximize availability whilst maintaining stock turns at agreed levels.
  • Carry out Distribution Safety 6 critical checks on all Linde trucks from time to time.
  • Implement deliveries with Linde trucks within agreed utilization target.
  • Conduct safety observation to ensure all loading and unloading process is carried out safely at sales center.
