SN737 WO#4 Digital Banking Job Role: Senior Deployment Engineer Domain: Digital Banking Sub-Domain: Engineering & Deployment Experience Level: Senior L3 (6-9 Years) Location: Kuala Lumpur Job Summary: We are seeking a Senior Deployment Engineer to support the continuous integration and deployment of mission-critical applications in the Digital Banking environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Aldon and strong expertise in Maven and Unix Shell scripting across HPUX, Linux, and Solaris systems. You will play a key role in managing deployments, build processes, and automation workflows within a secure and highly regulated environment. Key Responsibilities: Own and execute application deployments using Aldon in a multi-environment setup. Develop and maintain build and release pipelines using Maven and Unix Shell scripting. Manage deployment scripts and configuration across HPUX, Linux, and Solaris environments. Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth deployment workflows. Monitor and troubleshoot build failures, deployment issues, and environment inconsistencies. Ensure version control integrity, build artifact management, and proper documentation. Support automation of repetitive deployment and release processes to improve efficiency. Participate in release planning and contribute to release readiness and post-deployment support. Mandatory Skills & Experience: 6-9 years of hands-on experience in deployment engineering, preferably in a banking or regulated environment Strong knowledge of Aldon deployment toolset and lifecycle management Proficient in Maven for build automation and Unix Shell scripting Working experience with Oracle database environments Comfortable working across HPUX, Linux, and Solaris platforms Good-to-Have Technical Skills: Source Control: ClearCase, Git CI/CD Tools: Jenkins, SonarQube, Artifactory Scheduling/Automation: Control-M, OpenShift Deployment workflows Exposure to Microservices architecture, mobile deployments, and forms-based deployments Understanding of release management practices and DevOps culture Familiarity with digital banking domain or high-availability application ecosystems Show more Show less
