Job Responsibility Assistant Teacher works closely with the classroom Main Teacher to: Facilitate effective communication and coordination of activities, ensuring lessons are delivered in accordance with the established lesson plan and curriculum. Guide children in adhering to classroom and center routines and procedures, fostering a conducive learning environment. Monitor and assess children's progress throughout the academic year, evaluating the attainment of learning objectives. Communicate student progress and any concerns with diplomacy and professionalism to both parents and the director. Cultivate and sustain positive relationships with parents, fostering collaboration and engagement in their child's educational journey. Uphold safety and security standards for children, staff, and visitors, ensuring a secure and nurturing environment. Maintain accurate documentation, including individual student files, attendance records, and incident reports, to support effective administration and tracking of student development. Additionally, you will stay abreast of advancements and best practices in early childhood education, integrating relevant research findings into classroom practices. Flexibility to perform other assigned duties is also expected. Job Requirements Candidate possess or possessing at least Diploma/Advance Diploma in Early Childhood Educations or equivalent is preferred. Enthusiastic personality, energetic and cheerful that will engage with young children. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with adults and young children. Excel in English, both written and conversation (Mandarin is an added advantage). Ability to collaborate, work in group with teachers and support staffs in a positive and constructive way. Ability to plan, manage and evaluate lesson curriculum. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
