- The candidate must be able to work as a member of the support team in providing timely and efficient support to assigned operations.
- Coordinate day-to-day operations and maintenance of critical middleware applications (MQ, IBM WAS/ Oracle WebLogic)
- Collaborate in assessing current and expected application needs, configuration, maintenance, optimization, and documentation.
- Follow and apply configuration and security standards and policies within a defined Change Management process.
- Assist with implementing solutions for web-based applications; Implement common preventive maintenance practices for web applications and ensure that system improvements and changes are implemented correctly and completely, and monitor all effects of the modifications.
- Administrator in Middleware software such as IBM WebSphere Application Server, Oracle WebLogic Server, and IBM MQ.
- Apply Middleware software patches and maintain at least the N-2 patch version.
- Manage and renew SSL certificates.
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Knowledge of IBM WebSphere Application Server (IBM WAS) or Oracle WebLogic and related technology such as Apache.
- Knowledge of, and/or hands-on experience with IBM MQ
- Knowledge in SSL cert generation and installation
- Good knowledge in Unix command
- Knowledge in Java programming would be added advantage.
