Responsibilities: Demand Forecasting : Analyze sales data to generate accurate demand forecasts, align sales targets with merchandising teams, and create rolling 18-month forecasts based on specific parameters. Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with sales & operations, marketing, and supply planners to gather input for demand planning and ensure alignment of sales targets. Inventory Managemen t: Synchronize demand forecasts with inventory targets to consistently achieve optimal inventory levels. Performance Monitoring : Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to demand planning Risk Mitigation and Contingency Planning : Identify and mitigate risks related to supply chain disruptions and develop contingency plans. Reporting : Prepare and maintain relevant reports on forecast accuracy, inventory levels, and urgent order rates. Forecast Alignment and Insights : Present forecast to management, provide strategic insights on unconstraint demand, and support data-driven decision-making. Continuous Improvement : Identify trends, track ad hoc promotions, consolidate data to determine net demand, and make allocation decisions for promotions.
