The Opportunity We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to support our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and processing employee payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and company policies. This role involves a variety of tasks, including data input, calculation of wages and deductions, report generation, and handling employee inquiries. Key Responsibilities: Process monthly payroll, including generating payroll reports, e-payslips from the payroll system, and transferring salaries and statutory payments via online banking. Administer Payroll process with accuracy by setting appropriate quality standards and timelines for own work area Conduct Payroll activities such as accounting, distributing and preparing payments, benefits, taxes, and Payroll deductions Calculate various components of salary such as overtime, shift payments, sales commissions, and bonuses Check for patterns of errors/ repetitive issues and rectify the same, else escalate complex issues for resolution Prepare reports for internal use/ Government/ Compliance Receive and resolve Payroll related queries from employees Collate and verify data and information required for carrying out Payroll processes Liaise with government agencies such as KWSP, SOCSO, and LHDN.
