WHY WE&aposRE HIRING THIS ROLE Our current team can launch and scale campaigns, but the bigger game in e-commerce is Brand Architecture + Rapid Product Innovation. We need a leader who has played this game end-to-end, from market study R&D validation launch scale exit, and can keep multiple SKUs in different lifecycle phases at the same time. On top of that, you'll lead a team of 4 (design, advertising, content, and marketplace ops) which means you must blend creative direction, marketing know-how, and leadership skills to make the team perform at peak level. YOUR MISSION As the Head of Brand & Product Innovation, you will:- 1) Own the Brand Architecture - Shape SS Ecom's product portfolio to ensure balance between hero products, growth products, and experimental launches. 2) Lead R&D Cycles - Work directly with OEM factories and suppliers (cosmetics, supplements, devices) to co-create and fast-track winning products. 3) Spot & Validate Trends - Use market studies, competitor tracking, and consumer insights to identify high-demand niches before they peak. 4) Launch With Impact - Collaborate with our Digital Advertising Manager to ensure product launches hit strong Product-Market Fit from day one. 5) Guide & Mentor - Lead and inspire the e-commerce team (4 people) by giving clear direction, constructive feedback, and ensuring everyone understands the brand vision. 6) Creative Direction - Oversee design output, brand visuals, and product packaging to ensure strong market appeal. 7) Marketing Savvy - Apply digital marketing knowledge to ensure campaigns are not just run, but aligned with the bigger brand and product strategy. 8) Maintain Lifecycle Flow - Keep the pipeline moving so while one product peaks, others are in validation or R&D. 9) Negotiate for Edge - Secure better pricing, exclusivity, and innovation speed from manufacturing partners. WHAT YOU&aposVE DONE BEFORE We're looking for someone who has: - 5+ years leading product development & brand strategy in a fast-paced e-commerce or D2C business. - Successfully launched multiple SKUs in short lifecycles with high ROI. - Experience working with OEM / ODM factories for cosmetics, supplements, or consumer products. - Strong design sense - able to work with designers to craft brand visuals, packaging, and marketing materials that sell. - Solid digital marketing knowledge - you understand ads, content funnels, marketplace growth, and analytics (even if you're not the one running them day-to-day). - Proven leadership skills - you've managed creative, marketing, and ops teams to deliver high-performing results. - A Product-Market Fit mindset - you know when to scale, when to iterate, and when to retire a product.
