The Finance Executive supports the Assistant Manager in Accounting & Controlling by facilitating the daily financial activities within the company, focusing on General Ledger (GL) and Inventory management, ensuring the accuracy of Cost of Goods Sold (COGs), managing Fixed Assets, overseeing Treasury and cash operations, as well as handling Financial Reporting (Record to Report - R2R) and Audit compliance. Inventory And Cost Of Goods Sold (COG) Management Manages inventory updates for the Direct-to-Consumer (DtC) channel using the backend operational system. Collaborates with the Supply Chain department to oversee inventory control, forecast precision, and reconciliation, and prepares end-of-period reports. Conducts inventory checks across all locations and coordinates stock counts with the Supply Chain team as per the guidelines. Ensures the accuracy of COGs for monthly financial reporting. Transactional Operations And Accounts Receivable (AR) Handles billing processes, including credit notes and debit notes, to ensure Statements of Account (SOA) accurately reflect business transactions and supervises AR-related balance sheet reconciliations. Oversees bank reconciliations on the credit side. Treasury And Cash Management Implements treasury strategies to optimize bank balances. Assists the Assistant Manager in foreign exchange assessments by monitoring rates and managing purchases, coordinating with the Accounts Payable team on payment methods. Prepares monthly bank reconciliations and submits cash reports to the Group office at month-end. General Ledger And Financial Reporting Manages provisions and accruals for Net Sales and inventory. Supports the Assistant Manager with month-end closures and ensures the timely delivery of management Profit & Loss statements. Responsible for Group reporting, including inventory (DSI) and cash reports, on a monthly basis. Aids in balance sheet reconciliation tasks. Additional Responsibilities Engages closely with both external and internal auditors to facilitate the audit processes. Undertakes ad hoc projects as directed by superiors and participates in job rotations as needed. Requirements Education/Degree: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accountancy, Banking, or a related field, or equivalent qualification. Background Experience: This role is suitable for fresh graduates and is offered on a one-year contract basis, with the possibility of renewal. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Accounting and Microsoft Office suite. Languages: Fluent in English. Soft and Leadership Skills: Strong communication skills. Ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
