Material Project Manager (MPM) Job Brief We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Material Project Manager (MPM) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing material plans based on project needs, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring timely material availability to meet customer and production requirements. Key Responsibilities Collaborate closely with Project Management, Purchasing, Quality, Engineering, Customs, and Sales departments to ensure timely internal and external coordination aligned with project plans and customer expectations. Provide proactive updates on key milestones and support needs. Develop material requirement plans by analyzing customer demand, production capacity, material yield rates, and lead times. Issue and manage both material and incoming supply plans accordingly. Monitor and track the timely arrival of materials, resolve any discrepancies or abnormal issues, and ensure delivery schedules are met. Plan and optimize raw material inventory levels based on actual consumption and forecasts to improve inventory turnover and reduce excess stock. Lead cross-functional meetings to address material shortages, excess inventory, or supply chain risks, and drive effective resolution strategies. Qualifications & Skills Experience working with international clients; background in supply chain management or project-based manufacturing is a strong plus. Strong sense of ownership and responsibility; ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Excellent coordination, communication, and interpersonal skills.
