Lendlease Malaysia is currently searching for a Senior Finance Analyst to join our Finance team. This role is responsible for the financial control, financial planning and analysis, and management reporting of the project entities by providing insights to manage business outcomes. Reporting to the General Manager, Finance Construction, this role provides finance support and financial control as detailed below: Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial performance and reporting. Contribute to the preparation of budget plans, including profit, overhead and cashflow forecasting. Oversee recurring reporting, including total project costs, profits and cashflow forecasting, and financial presentations for management information and use. Track and monitor costs against forecasts on monthly basis, including preparation of relevant reports. Support integrated project/ business commercial analysis and preparation of all monthly reporting and analysis, ensuring accurate variance analysis. Review the financial statements and disclosures, and support Finance Services to ensure financial compliance. Review, interpret and analyse financial statements, disclosures, and support documentation. Review the general ledger and sub-ledger postings. Identify significant trends, key fluctuations, and any unusual events in activity recorded in the ledgers. Oversee financial transactions and accounting positions at project level. Support and provide financial analysis to support commercial decision making. Ensure implementation of globally consistent policies, procedures, accounting standards and financial controls, and control processes. Assist with project pipeline planning and management of pipeline status updates. To Be Considered For This Role Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, combined with demonstrable intermediate level of role knowledge. Post tertiary qualification in CPA/ACCA is a plus. Candidate with construction finance knowledge/background would be highly regarded. Experience with TM1 / Cognos / Oracle R12 or similar Management accounting system. Experience in financial planning and analysis with minimum 5 years' experience in either public accounting or commercial environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills, good problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team and independently.
