With our global reach, we ensure the global supply chain has access to the Flash memory it needs to keep our world moving forward.Job DescriptionBackend Equipment Technician perform electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning equipment used in Backend Process.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning equipment used in backend Process.
Provides Manufacturing and Equipment support needs in a rapidly changing development and high volume manufacturing environment.
Dismantles, adjusts, repairs, and assembles equipment according to schematics, repair manuals, or specifications.
Performs preventive maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting diagnosis on production equipment.
Resolves non-standard problems, works with minimal supervision, and can adjust to rapidly changing priorities.
Must be a self-starter capable of managing own activities as well as supporting team activities.
Works with Engineering to support new equipment installations and improvement initiatives.

QualificationsREQUIRED:

Certificate / Diploma in Mechanical/ Electronics/ Mechatronics

PREFERRED:

Proficient at troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and PC software/hardware related issues.
Ability to use schematics, hand tools, electrical gauges and common test equipment for calibration, diagnosis and repair of equipment.
Ability to understand PLC system.
Ability to use vision system will be an added advantage.
High level attention to detail with methodical approach to troubleshooting and project management.
Provide leadership to other technicians through training and mentorship.
Drive solutions and guidelines by recommending and writing maintenance procedures.
Utilize diagnostic equipment to monitor equipment performance, diagnose root cause, and drive factory improvement initiatives.
Knowledge of Auto VMI, Auto Labeling and Auto Packing equipment/process would be an added advantage.

SKILLS:

Excellent verbal/written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with peers, engineering, and managers.
Self-motivator; ability to work independently under general guidance and direction.
