We're Hiring: Cloud Security Engineer Location: KL Sentral, Malaysia Start Date: 1st September 2025 Languages: Open to English, Mandarin, or Korean speakers Overview We are seeking an experienced Cloud Security Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will assess and strengthen the security posture of client cloud environments, identify vulnerabilities, and recommend remediation strategies. You'll work closely with clients, guiding them through security assessments, architecture reviews, and implementation plans, ensuring robust, compliant, and secure cloud architectures. Key Responsibilities Conduct security assessments for Microsoft Azure environments. Identify vulnerabilities and recommend effective remediation strategies. Implement and manage technical security controls and governance processes. Lead architecture reviews and provide security design recommendations. Deliver clear, concise communication of complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Guide clients through Microsoft Security Assessments, including Well-Architected Review Assessment (WARA) and Microsoft Security Assessment Frameworks. Develop and maintain security incident response and Major Incident Response Plans (MIRP). Required Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience in cloud security architecture and assessment, specifically within Microsoft Azure . Deep knowledge of Azure security architecture and cloud-native security resiliency patterns. Strong experience with security frameworks (e.g., NIST CSF, ISO/IEC 27001). Skilled in vulnerability management, risk assessment, and security compliance standards. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Hands-on experience with Azure security tools: Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Sentinel, Key Vault, Azure AD (Entra ID), PIM, Azure Policy, Azure Monitor, and Log Analytics. Proven experience in client-facing roles delivering security assessments and solutions. Solid understanding of process governance and security incident response planning.
