Job descriptionResponsibilities:

Oversee and optimize Manufacturing Execution System (MES) implementation to enhance production and engineering processes.
Troubleshoot and analyze MES-related issues, developing solutions in collaboration with IT and team.
Experience in managing MES projects from conception to implementation, ensuring on-time delivery, adherence to budget, and alignment with business objectives.
Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for MES updates and new features.
Provide training and support for MES users in production and engineering teams.
Work closely with IT and vendors to align MES configurations with business needs.
Proficiency in using various MES software applications and platforms.
Strong documentation skills to maintain accurate records of MES configurations, customizations, and changes made to the system.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
CompTIA Network+ - For troubleshooting MES-related network issues or equivalent
Designing and deploying MES solutions in a production environment
Configuring MES for production tracking, traceability, shipment and quality management
SQL database management (writing queries, managing tables)
Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes and workflows
IT troubleshooting and system support in a manufacturing environment
Basic understanding of MES concepts and functionalities

Skills:

MES configuration, implementation, and support
SQL (queries, stored procedures, database management)
Knowledge of servers, networking, and system architecture
Quickly diagnose and resolve MES system issues
Translate technical MES requirements into business needs
Ensure MES implementations meet regulatory and company standards
Present data-driven insights to improve production efficiency
Document troubleshooting steps and create SOPs for common MES problems
