- Assisting in editing raw footage to create compelling video content that aligns with our brand and objectives.
- Contributing to creative ideation, you will use your creativity and knowledge to brainstorm new ideas. This includes staying up-to-date with current social media trends.
- Learning and applying video editing techniques and software to enhance the quality and impact of our videos.
- Shoot videos according to content briefs to grasp the production team's needs and specifications.
- Support in managing and organising video files, ensuring efficient workflow and project organisation.
- Plan and conceptualise content ideas for our social media.
- Understanding of music selection, dialogues, graphical overlays, and effects.
- Create rough drafts and final cuts according to the platform's format.
- Ability to operate under tight deadlines with quick turnaround times.
- Attending events and shoots with a positive attitude.
- Minimum 1-year work experience as a Video Editor
- Bachelor's Degree, Diploma, SPM / GCSE O-level, STPM / A-level, Self Taught
- Fluent in English (Bahasa Malaysia and/or Mandarin will be an advantage)
- Proficiency in video editing softwares, e.g. CapCut (Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut is an advantage)
- Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio
- Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation and continuity
- Basic understanding of the Lifestyle industry (Fashion, Travel, F&B etc)
- Familiarity with graphical overlays, typography, and visuals
- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for visual storytelling
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Great problem-solving skills and are outgoing
- Experience in hosting is a bonus
- This is a paid internship position.
