- Management of liquidity and funding risk, in particular reporting and monitoring compliance internal/regulatory requirements.
- Prepare liquidity analysis and reports and work closely with Markets Treasury (MKTY) to ensure the Bank’s liquidity needs are well managed.
- Assess and analyse the Bank’s liquidity and funding risk, provide the Bank’s Asset and Liability Management Committee (ALCO) with concise, accurate and timely reporting;
- Interpret and implement guidelines issued by regulatory authorities as well as adhering to internal HSBC Group Treasury framework;
- Perform comprehensive investigation in support of ALCO/business queries.
- Support Stress Testing for the bank in line with Bank Negara guidelines and Group’s governance framework.
- Testing and deployment of new systems intended to improve ALCM monitoring;
- Collaborate effectively with business units and control functions of the Bank in order to generate desired deliverables.
- Possess an undergraduate or post graduate degree, preferably in Accounting and Finance;
- Preferably at least 5 years of Finance work experience;
- A high level of professional competence and able to work independently;
- Strong analytical and lateral thinking skills;
- Strong Excel spreadsheet skills; VBA/Python skills would be an advantage;
- Ability to work with all levels of staff with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional accountancy qualifications would be an advantage.
