Our team of finance professionals partner with the business to provide trusted insights and forward looking analysis; accuracy; efficiency and control to frame and influence business decisions.We are currently seeking an experienced professional to take on the role of Asset, Liability and Capital Management (ALCM) Manager.Principal Accountabilities:
  • Management of liquidity and funding risk, in particular reporting and monitoring compliance internal/regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare liquidity analysis and reports and work closely with Markets Treasury (MKTY) to ensure the Bank’s liquidity needs are well managed.
  • Assess and analyse the Bank’s liquidity and funding risk, provide the Bank’s Asset and Liability Management Committee (ALCO) with concise, accurate and timely reporting;
  • Interpret and implement guidelines issued by regulatory authorities as well as adhering to internal HSBC Group Treasury framework;
  • Perform comprehensive investigation in support of ALCO/business queries.
  • Support Stress Testing for the bank in line with Bank Negara guidelines and Group’s governance framework.
  • Testing and deployment of new systems intended to improve ALCM monitoring;
  • Collaborate effectively with business units and control functions of the Bank in order to generate desired deliverables.
RequirementsRequirements:
  • Possess an undergraduate or post graduate degree, preferably in Accounting and Finance;
  • Preferably at least 5 years of Finance work experience;
  • A high level of professional competence and able to work independently;
  • Strong analytical and lateral thinking skills;
  • Strong Excel spreadsheet skills; VBA/Python skills would be an advantage;
  • Ability to work with all levels of staff with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional accountancy qualifications would be an advantage.
