Role Purpose: Oversee the implementation and adherence to the IT Compliance Management Framework within the department, fostering collaboration with Internal Audit and IT process owners to ensure alignment with IT and bank-wide compliance standards. Principal Accountabilities: 1. Lead the development and maintenance of the IT Compliance Framework, integrating compliance practices into daily IT operations. 2. Manage the documentation and dissemination of internal control policies to meet statutory requirements and internal standards. 3. Ensure departmental compliance with regulations and standards, promptly addressing any identified gaps. 4. Facilitate communication on policy changes and provide guidance on IT audit and compliance matters. 5. Act as the primary liaison between IT process owners and Internal/External Audit, coordinating responses to compliance findings. 6. Plan and execute compliance checks and audits, analyzing results and recommending corrective actions. 7. Benchmark departmental compliance maturity and propose enhancements to the compliance framework. Qualifications/Experience: 1. Degree or professional qualification in Information Technology or related field. 2. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia. 3. Over 5 years of experience in IT compliance and audit, with relevant certifications or memberships being advantageous.
