Together, we ensure responsible data use, allowing Edwards to lead innovative solutions to transform patient lives.We seek a Japanese speaker Analyst in Data Management to join Edwards Lifesciences in support of the Japan and Asia Pacific (JAPAC) region. The analyst will be part of the Regional Commercial Operations and Strategy team. It will focus on approving new records, merging existing records, and ensuring efficient data reliability and accuracy. The regional commercial operations team is partly responsible for delivering cross-market, centralized data governance to help grow the business and reach more patients with Edwards’ life-saving therapies, and it plays a vital role in these efforts.How you’ll make an impact:Execute daily operations of the HCP (Healthcare Professional), HCO (Healthcare Organization), customer, supplier and employee data management and maintenance as data steward in adherence to SOP.Execute and monitor HCP, HCO, customer, supplier, and employee data management and maintenance activities while following global master data policies and practices.Execution of processes to audit & measure the efficiency and quality of the MDM maintenance process.Ensure data consistency, completeness, and integrity across the core business systems (JDE, MDM Informatica, Tableau, Concur, Coupa).Facilitating the development, implementation, training, and ongoing improvements of processes in the assigned areas.Build JAPAC data quality metrics, business terms, data quality rules and processes to align with global standards to ensure harmonized and centralized data management with stakeholder engagement.Support and execute data cleanup or data migration projects to improve data accuracy.Provide root cause analysis and formulate recommendations or solutions for data-related issues.Assisting with executing the Global strategy & processes to standardize /centralize data management and maintenance activities for continuous improvement.Expand oversight of MDM areas in non-ERP systems (i.e. Salesforce, Informatica, Collibra, HCP Master, Coupa, Concur, etc.) as defined by leadership.Incidental duties as assigned.What you'll need (Required):Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience beneficial.Well verse in Japanese speaking and writing is a must.Minimum 3-4 years’ experience in data management.Experience with executing established business processes and data standards.Able to understand the data management lifecycle.Strong observance of data quality.What else we look for (Preferred):Experience in master data management, governance principles, theories, concepts, and data cleaning is a plus.Proven expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and data quality tools.Good problem-solving, organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills.Ability to work with a team and cross-functions to define/standardize the new process.Experience providing first-level support and user training.Strict attention to detail.Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels.Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures to prevent injuries to themselves and others to protect the environment and avoid pollution under their influence/control.
