Job Description Position Summary: To lead and manage the HR Operations team in delivering accurate, timely, and compliant HR services across the Hire-to-Retire lifecycle for the APAC and EMEA regions. The Senior Team Lead ensures operational excellence, process standardization, and continuous improvement while playing a critical role in the successful establishment, stabilization, and long-term sustainability of the APAC HR Shared Services Centre (HRSS). Scope of Role: APAC & EMEA regional coverage (Rest of Asia, China, and EMEA markets). Direct supervision of HR Operations Specialists and Team Leads in the Hire-to-Retire process areas. Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership & Operational Excellence Lead, coach, and develop the HR Operations team to achieve service delivery targets and continuous skill enhancement. Oversee workload planning, performance management, and career development initiatives. Drive adherence to SLAs, process quality, and customer satisfaction standards. Service Delivery & Process Management Ensure accurate and timely execution of HR transactions including employee data changes, contract management, benefits coordination, and separations. Monitor case management system queues and quality metrics, ensuring First-Time-Right execution and proper escalation. Liaise with Payroll, Benefits, and COE teams to resolve complex operational issues. HRSS Setup & Sustainability Lead and coordinate HRSS migration activities including system testing (UAT), data migration validation, and knowledge transfer. Develop and maintain SOPs, process documentation, and training materials to support standardized service delivery. Implement quality controls such as audit checks, First-Time-Right validations, and compliance monitoring. Stakeholder Engagement & Business Reviews Establish and maintain strong working relationships with key business and HR stakeholders across regions. Lead Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs) with stakeholders to report on service performance, case trends, and KPIs. Develop and implement action plans arising from MBRs to drive continuous improvement and stakeholder satisfaction. Proactively gather feedback and communicate service updates, ensuring transparency and alignment with business needs. Continuous Improvement Identify process gaps and lead initiatives to improve efficiency and effectiveness of HR operations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and regional stakeholders to ensure alignment and service excellence. Support internal and external audits and compliance reviews with required documentation and process adherence. Skills & Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience in HR Shared Services or HR Operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead role. Proficient in HCM platforms (Oracle, SuccessFactors) and Case Management Systems. Strong knowledge of APAC and EMEA HR statutory requirements and operational best practices. Experience in process improvement, project coordination, and team leadership. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and coaching skills. Languages: English + at least one additional language (Vietnamese / Japanese / Korean / Filipino / Hindi).
