Developing and implementing sourcing strategies for indirect goods and services
Conducting market research and benchmarking to identify potential suppliers and cost-saving opportunities.
Developing Request for Proposals (RFPs) and Request for Quotations (RFQs
Conduct cost analysis and setting benchmarks for improvement
Negotiating contracts and ensuring compliance with terms and conditions
Facilitating and leading sourcing projects
Monitoring supplier performance and addressing any issue
Identifying and implementing cost-saving initiatives
Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
Identifying and mitigating potential risks associated with procurement
Working with internal stakeholders to ensure that all procurement activities are conducted ethically and legally
Ensuring that all purchases are within budget and comply with company policies
Identifying and implementing process improvements to streamline procurement activities
Using technology to automate procurement processes and improve efficiency

Qualifications

Degree in any discipline
MBA, an added advantage
Minimum 5 years working experience in indirect procurement
Strong organization and analytical skills and make data-driven decision
Project management skill
Problem solving skill
Knowledge of ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics AX, SAP, etc)
Able to work independently and as a team
Able to travel when required
Strong communication skill, preferably fluent in spoken and written English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin
Strong inter-personal and leadership skills
Strategic thinking ability
High integrity
