Support day-to-day IT operations - production issue resolution. Analyse issue raised by users or reported by monitoring system. Perform impact analysis and suggest workaround solution for service recovery. Ensure problem, preventive and enquiry cases are followed up, tracked, updated accurately, and closed on timely manner. Be able to specify the monitoring requirement and observing system abnormality ahead of time to prevent issues from happening. Be able to conduct application capacity planning and perform performance tuning. Be able to participate/conduct regular DR simulation/live DR exercise. Qualifications Up to 10 years of IT experience & 5+ Years on Channels and Payment applications in banking/financial services industry. Domain knowledge on: G3 (Instant Fund Transfer) Internet Banking Equity markets and Financial Markets products and Order Management Flows. Possess good knowledge on 3 tiers-architecture application to: Provide L2 support - Be able to understand the application architecture, and interfaces to upstream/downstream. Application Technical Support on either of the following: Applications based on Java technology and WebLogic/ Websphere/ JBoss OR Applications based on .NET technology and Microsoft IIS Platform Knowledge on Linux/ UNIX OR Windows Server. Database knowledge on MS SQL OR Oracle database. Good interpersonal skills and capable to communicate with different work groups within internal IT, BU/Operations and external vendors. Required to work on shifts on a rotational basis to provide 18 by 7 support with 2 days off. (9 hours per shift - 6:30am to 3:30pm/ 2:30pm to 11:30pm) Work location is in Cyberjaya
