- Follow established procedures and guidelines to perform in the area of responsibility accurately and timely.
- In the area of responsibility, reconcile accounts, post entries, and maintain a complete and accurate sub ledger and general ledger in accordance with accounting principles and reporting schedules so that the organisation has a full and accurate statement of its financial position.
- Period-end closing, preparations of reporting for internal and external area of responsibility.
- Application of continuous process optimization using the appropriate reports provided. Solution finding as well as implementation of automation/ optimization measures in the area of responsibility.
- Support in training preparation and implementation in the area of responsibility.
- In accordance of requirement area of responsibility creation of process documentation, training material and ensure that it is in accordance to the requirement of the respective areas.
- In addition to the listed tasks in the area of responsibility, there is an obligation to carry out individual orders on the instructions of the supervisor, which essentially belong to their activity or result from the operational necessity.
- The job function listed is not exhaustive and shall also include any responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor from time to time.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance and/or Accounting; or professional accounting certification (ACCA, CIMA, CPA, MIA).
- 3 to 5 years' experience in SAP General Ledger (GL) / fixed assets (AA)/ controlling (CO).
- Good communication skills in English - both written and verbal.
- Possess strong accounting fundamentals.
- Experience in supporting finance-related projects i.e. system migration, implementation of new tax rules.
- Able to communicate in Mandarin, Japanese, Korean or Thai will be advantage.
- Good to have experience in shared service environment.
- Good to have experience in accounting function migration to shared services organization.
