Deputy General Manager, Procurement - Green Infrastructure & Renewable Energy Location: Kuala Lumpur We are seeking a senior procurement leader to head the procurement function for large-scale greenfield and brownfield infrastructure projects. This role oversees the planning, execution, and control of procurement activities for consultants, contractors, and key suppliers, ensuring cost- and time-effective solutions that meet project requirements. Key Responsibilities: Lead the procurement team and collaborate with cross-functional departments and stakeholders. Develop and implement strategic procurement plans, vendor pre-qualification, and tender processes (RFP/RFQ, framework agreements, partnerships). Oversee vendor evaluation (technical and commercial) and negotiation to achieve optimal outcomes. Ensure compliance, transparency, and governance in procurement processes. Mentor and develop team members for capability growth and succession planning. Requirements: Currently a Head of Department or equivalent senior leadership role in procurement or contracts. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Supply Chain Management, or related field. Proven leadership and strategic procurement experience in large-scale infrastructure projects. Strong negotiation, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills. Knowledge of procurement best practices, market dynamics, and risk management.
