Continuous Improvement (CI) Champion – Junior/Senior Executive

Position Summary The CI Champion is responsible for actively promoting and facilitating a continuous improvement culture within the organization. They identify opportunities for improvement, drive change, and coach Kaizen teams using the Kaizen 3-1-3 framework. Additionally, they manage and track Kaizen project performance and cost savings and lead continuous improvement events across the organization. Work Location : Bandar Bukit Raja, Klang (next to Setia Alam) You will play an essential role to: Be a change agent, leading, coordinating Lean/Ops excellence transformation. Lead Project execution. Focal point to facilitate company Kaizens, maintain and ensure alignment of company Kaizen projects to biz strategy. Drive new Kaizen project launch, completion, priority change, project resources, monitor progress and result, provide update to Vinda BCID, RLT, and the President. Ensure consistency and compliance with project execution methodology, CI implementation, and sustainability (standard work). Train, coach, CI leads, and users on LEAN tools, processes, and templates. Monitor and assess Just-Do-It (JDI) and Kaizen projects. Guide and coach the team towards a proper problem-solving approach. Manage JDI process and requirements to build a CI culture. Develop and consolidate reporting of Lean key metrics to Vinda BCID. Track current and future events for all departments in the company. Maintain all documentation, share information, and capture lessons learned. Assess and develop Lean (train by doing) training requirements for the company. Coordinate training with Vinda BCID and the training center, and L&D. Maintain training and certification records on training and development. Support Vinda BCID requirements on publicity and promotions. Develop plans and manage the CI team to achieve department goals. Be a role model for safety. Ensure all safety and health, technical, economical, environmental, and legal requirements are fulfilled throughout the activities. To be successful in this role, you will need to have: Degree in Engineering/ Manufacturing/Operations Management/ Quality Management/ Supply Chain Management At least 5 years of working experience in a manufacturing environment (preferably FMCG)/ Supply Chain/ Continuous Improvement Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Kaizen/TPS experience Advanced knowledge in Kaizen philosophy, Lean tools, and conducting Kaizen/continuous improvement projects. Knowledge in TRIZ (Theory of Inventive Problem Solving) is an added advantage. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively engage and collaborate across all levels of the organizational hierarchy and department. English and Bahasa. Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, data analysis, statistical tools, and project management skills.
