About the Role The Data and Analytics tribe builds analytical capabilities that support the delivery of the instant and frictionless strategy and offers stand-alone data services to our community of users that help deliver greater operational efficiency, better manage risk & compliance, and drive more business and innovation. The Data and Analytics tribe mission is therefore increasingly evolving from a reactive function to a strategic enabler.
Today, the tribe consists of solutions that can be grouped under three business domains (Payments, Risk & Compliance, Securities & Trade Finance), supported by the Data Management Platform as well with an exploration squad looking at new opportunities.EducationUniversity degree in computer science or related field. Or equivalent work experience.Experience5 to 10 years experience in software/systems development or data engineering.What to Expect?

Analyzes functional and technical requirements and translates them into software solutions.
Develops, tests, and implements simple and complex business logics with ETL and database designs.
Implements simple and complex business logic through Oracle database views.
Design and implementation of new database schemas for the SWIFT BI product portfolio.
Query Optimization and tuning of existing oracle database schemas as well as database views.
Build CI/ CD pipelines and facilitate the automation of build creation, unit testing, installation, and deployment.
Implements timely decisions on complicated technical problems.
Provides technical expertise in resolving problems raised by colleagues and customers which requires back-end analysis and solutioning.
Analyze support cases and, when appropriate and needed, provide solutions following the established case management processes.
Support large enterprise initiatives and help resolve architectural issues in the environment and database infrastructure.
Seeks continual quality improvements on tools and processes to increase quality, efficiency, and effectivity.
Participate in Proof of Concept (feasibility studies) of new functionality of SWIFT’s BI products.

What will make you successful?

Solid programming/coding experience in Java Development
Extensive knowledge and experience in Oracle RDBMS and PL/SQL development.
Experience in Java Spark, Apache Nifi, Kafka and MicroStrategy is a strong advantage
Hands-on experience working with Oracle 11g, 12c, or 19c.
Deep understanding of Data Analysis & ETL Development.
Superior troubleshooting skills, battle-tested in high-volume production environments.
Hands on experience with performance tuning
Experience with Agile development & exposure to CI/CD practices such as Jenkins, Git, and Ansible
Expertise in unit and integration test automation
Experience with scripting language, primarily Unix Shell, Perl, Python
Team player and strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
Good understanding of BI/ data warehousing concepts and ability to articulate to technical and non-technical audiences.
