Our client is looking to hire an experienced financial controller to join their company based in Johor. The successful candidate will lead and oversee the RTR Operations, drive process excellence and strategic initiatives within a dynamic regional finance function!Your job duties will include;R2R Process OwnershipLead end-to-end Record to Report activities including general ledger, fixed assets, intercompany transactions, and financial close processesEnsure accurate and timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activitiesOversee journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting complianceSAP S/4HANA ExpertiseUtilize deep knowledge of SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC FI to enhance and optimize R2R workflowsDrive automation, standardization, and continuous improvement of finance processes through SAP toolsCollaborate closely with IT and transformation teams on system enhancements and troubleshootingCompliance & ControlsEnsure compliance with internal controls, IFRS standards, and corporate accounting policiesSupport internal and external audits with thorough documentation and timely responsesTeam Leadership & Stakeholder EngagementManage, mentor, and develop a team of finance professionals, both onshore and offshoreServe as the main liaison between finance, business units, and shared service centersPromote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvementStrategic InitiativesLead or participate in finance transformation projects including process redesign and system integrationMonitor and drive key performance indicators such as close cycle time, automation rates, compliance, and stakeholder satisfactionWorking from Home FlexibilityCompetitive SalaryA successful Financial Controller should have:

A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent.
Strong knowledge of financial management, reporting, and compliance.
Experience in the business services industry is an advantage.
Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
