Role Description As a Sales Manager specializing in semiconductor component assembly and test equipment, you will lead a dynamic sales team and be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding market presence across Malaysia and ASEAN countries. Your role will encompass the following key responsibilities: Sales Strategy and Execution: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and maximize market penetration. Lead the sales team in identifying and targeting prospective clients in the semiconductor manufacturing sector. Establish strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within target accounts. Provide guidance and support to sales team members to optimize their performance and drive results. Monitor sales activities, track progress against targets, and take corrective actions as needed. Business Development and Market Expansion: Identify new business opportunities and market segments for the company's products and services. Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to develop compelling value propositions and promotional campaigns. Conduct market research and analysis to stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs. Explore opportunities for strategic partnerships and alliances to enhance the company's market position and offerings. Customer Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention. Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, providing expert guidance on product selection, technical solutions, and industry best practices. Resolve customer issues and escalations promptly and effectively, working closely with internal teams to ensure customer success. Drive cross-selling and upselling initiatives to maximize revenue opportunities with existing accounts. Team Leadership and Development: Recruit, onboard, and train sales team members, fostering a culture of high performance and accountability. Set clear goals and objectives for the sales team and provide regular feedback and coaching to support their professional growth. Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment where team members are motivated to excel and achieve their targets. Conduct performance evaluations and implement recognition and incentive programs to reward top performers. Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular sales forecasts, reports, and analyses for senior management, highlighting key performance metrics and trends. Utilize sales data and market insights to identify areas for improvement and optimize sales strategies and processes. Provide input to product development and marketing teams based on customer feedback and market intelligence.
