Responsibilities/Job Description: 1.Curriculum Development: Design and implement effective IGCSE English curriculum that aligns with Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) standards. Develop lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities. 2. Classroom Instruction: Deliver engaging and interactive lessons that promote active student participation and foster a love for English language and literature. Utilize a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning needs and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment. 3.Assessment and Feedback: Provide timely and constructive feedback to students, supporting their academic growth and helping them achieve their full potential. 4.Student Support: Offer additional support to students who may require extra assistance, ensuring inclusivity and equal opportunities for all learners. 5.Parent and Stakeholder Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with parents, providing regular updates on student progress, achievements, and areas for improvement. 6.Extracurricular Involvement: Actively participate in and contribute to extracurricular activities, such as literary clubs, writing competitions, or drama productions, to enhance the overall English language experience for students. Qualifications: Bachelor&aposs degree in English, Education, or a related field (Master&aposs degree preferred). Teaching certification and relevant credentials for IGCSE English. Proven experience teaching English at the IGCSE level. Strong knowledge of the Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) curriculum.
