  • Possess an MBBS or medical qualification recognized by the Malaysian Medical Council and a Postgraduate qualification in the respective discipline or equivalent.
  • Proven track record in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and research.
  • Experience of teaching at an Irish medical school would be an advantage.
  • The successful applicant will be appointed at the level of Associate Professor or Professor commensurate with his/her postgraduate qualifications and experience.
Applicants must be currently registered with their country's Medical Council and/or with the Malaysian Medical
Council when applying for clinical teaching positions. Malaysian applicants registered or willing to be registered with the National Specialist Register (NSR) and possess the latest and valid Annual Practicing Certificate (APC). Foreign applicants must be registered as a specialist with the Medical Council/Authorities in the practitioner's country of origin or last country of practice with at least five (5) years of experience in that specialty in any country, supported by written testimonials.The remuneration package will be commensurate with the background and experience of the candidate.
