- Develop and execute the overall sales strategy, aligning it with the company's business objectives and growth targets.
- Drive sales growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, markets, and customer segments.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to identify new product and service offerings that align with market demands.
- Provide regular reports and updates to the executive team on sales performance against monthly budgets, market trends, and strategic sales initiatives.
- Implement and manage a disciplined sales cadence and pipeline monitoring process to drive sales efficiency, forecast accuracy, and revenue predictability.
- Establish strong relationships with key decision-makers in target banks and financial institutions, leveraging your network and industry expertise to generate leads and close deals.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective sales enablement materials, including presentations, proposals, case studies, and other sales collateral.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
- Candidates must have >10 years working experience in sales related role.
- Proven experience within the software solutions industry or a similar technology-driven B2B environment selling into the Banking sector
- Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Deep understanding of the banking industry, including its challenges, trends, and regulatory environment as well as having an established network with senior bankers in the country.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills, with a customer-centric approach.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to think creatively and develop innovative sales strategies.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data and insights to drive informed decision-making.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and sales analytics tools.
