This white space motivates us to redefine the way the supply chain operates, expand our suite of services to get closer to the end-customers, and to build products that empower both small business owners as well as large enterprises.As we scale and grow, we are looking for a technical program manager to come in and help CPTO set up a program management function to build the right processes and structure for scaling engineering and product teams.A DAY IN A LIFEAs a start up, you can expect your days to be pretty varied. Multitasking is normal, and sometimes, your skills or natural talents will be leveraged to support other business priorities. That said, the bulk of your working hours should involve you having to:
- Work with Product and Engineering Leaders to identify the gaps in collaboration and execution today
- Set up the right processes such as Jira Workflows, Notion Workflows, ARC, CAB processes to ensure high level of communication and collaboration between the teams
- Define key technical initiatives with the leadership team and lead them from start to finish
- Establish the right capacity model for roadmap planning, and drive roadmap execution with the right risk management and reporting frameworks.
- Develop the key metrics and KPIs to measure team performance and effectiveness.
- Facilitate communication between project teams, stakeholders, and senior leadership.
- Roll up their sleeves as needed, and never delegate work that one would not be willing to do themselves
- Do what is needed to get things done, as they believe speed is more important than anything else to effect change
- Over communicate, particularly as they are all quite autonomous
- Take care of our staff, and treat them as they would want to be treated
- Are detail oriented, able to operate in an environment of chaos, identifying the right opportunities
- 3-5 years of experience in a technical role within the software industry, with exposure to Agile methodologies, project and program management concepts.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field
- Preferred certifications include: PMP, PgMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, LPM
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and build positive working relationships.
