The Integrity Officer will be responsible for driving the organisation's commitment to ethical conduct, anti-bribery practices, and compliance. This role will lead the implementation and certification readiness of the ISO 37001 Anti-Bribery Management System (ABMS) and ensure its effective maintenance post-certification. The officer will also manage whistleblower cases, conduct investigations, develop and deliver integrity training programmes, and promote a strong culture of integrity across the organisation. Key Responsibilities: 1. ISO 37001 Implementation & Compliance Lead and coordinate activities to achieve ISO 37001 ABMS certification readiness and ongoing compliance. Work with stakeholders to address audit findings, close compliance gaps, and ensure certification preparedness. Maintain documentation, records, and evidence required for certification and surveillance audits. Ensure the ABMS is effectively implemented, monitored, and continually improved post-certification. 2. Integrity & Compliance Governance Ensure compliance with the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission Act 2009 (MACC Act) and other applicable laws. Support the development, review, and enforcement of integrity-related policies and procedures. Prepare integrity reports for senior management and board committees. 3. Whistleblower & Complaint Management Manage whistleblower complaints in strict confidence. Conduct initial assessments and recommend further investigations where necessary. Safeguard whistleblowers from retaliation and ensure fair handling of cases. 4. Investigation & Reporting Conduct investigations into suspected bribery, fraud, misconduct, or ethical breaches. Gather and document evidence, prepare investigation reports, and recommend corrective actions. Escalate significant matters to senior management and relevant committees. 5. Awareness, Training & Culture Building Develop, coordinate, and deliver integrity, anti-bribery, and ABMS training sessions for employees, management, and third parties. Organize integrity awareness campaigns, workshops, and communication programmes. Serve as a key spokesperson in promoting ethical values and anti-bribery commitments within the organisation. 6. Risk Assessment & Monitoring Assist in conducting and updating Corruption Risk Assessments (CRA). Monitor the effectiveness of anti-bribery controls and track implementation of action plans. Identify emerging integrity risks and recommend preventive measures. Qualifications & Experience: Certified Integrity Officer (CeIO) - mandatory. Bachelor's degree in Law, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in integrity, compliance, internal audit, or anti-bribery functions. Proven hands-on experience in ISO 37001 ABMS implementation and certification readiness. Proven ability to design, deliver, and facilitate training and awareness programmes, with strong presentation and communication skills (written and spoken) in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. Additional certifications such as CFE, CIA, ISO 37001 Lead Auditor, ISO 37001 Lead Implementer, or equivalent are an advantage.
