Summary of the Roles:The core focus will be on the technical solutions towards the customer engagement in Transmission (Grid). The successful candidate should be able to translate customer's technical requirement into a technical solution/proposal for customer from utility companies, EPC players, industrial and renewable clients across Malaysia, Thailand, Philippine, Cambodia.The successful candidate will be able to review all the technical proposal, drawings between customer and factory, expedite the progress as per schedule related to transmission products (GIS, AIS, Power Transformer, BESS for 132kV and above).Responsibilities:· Collaborating with colleagues in relation to technical solutions for customer requests including technical specifications and drawings.· Main focal point for technical engineering interfacing with the factories and customers.· Reviewing all the technical proposal, drawings as per specification, international standards.· Monitor and expedite the progress with factories and customers on prompt documents and drawings approval.· Ensure that our solutions are aligned with customer requirements and any deviation shall be clearly identified, for the purpose of negotiation with the customer.· Assist and support the tendering process especially on technical content.· Visits customers and potential customers to develop relationships, follow up on leads, close sales opportunities and provide technical information.· Maintain and share an understanding of industry trends and technical developments that affect target markets.· Demonstrating the technical features and benefits of our products.· Advising customers on technology upgrades and related products.· Maintain a high degree of product knowledge within product and related areas.Requirements:· Bachelor's degree preferably in Electrical Engineering.· 7 years of sales experience in Transmission & Distribution or a minimum 5 years engineering experience in Grid products in primary equipment.· Key experiences on 132kV and above in transformer and GIS and good technical knowledge on Transformers and High voltage GIS.· At minimum, shall be able to read the Single Line Diagram and technical data sheet, tender documents and layout of the equipment.· Having a good technical knowledge on Transformers and High Voltage GIS.· If you are interested in the position, kindly apply directly online by clicking on the “Apply” button.
