- Lead the implementation of operation-related standards and procedures, preventive & planned maintenance program, repair & replacement initiative program, and helpdesk management to minimize the risk of plant failure.
- Responsible for managing both hard service and soft service operations to ensure the implementation of agreed procedures and standards
- Oversee all site repair and maintenance carried out by subcontractors to ensure completion, quality, and compliance with specifications and ordinance requirements
- Conduct meetings with contractors, specialist vendors, and suppliers to establish and maintain required standards and develop corrective action plans
- Ensure maintenance documentation meets required standards and provides sufficient information for effective asset management
- Support the client with statutory compliance requirements/certifications for the site
- Maintain asset information and update changes within the CMMS
- Ensure site operations, including incident management and escalation, comply with the company's policy
- Implement continuous management initiatives and energy management plans to achieve better results and increase energy efficiency
- Review existing operations to reduce costs and improve operational standards
- Promote open, constructive, and collaborative relations with superiors, subordinates, peers, and clients
- Ensure adherence to financial processes, including timely submission of financial reports
- Be responsible for vendor financial management, including understanding vendor scope in relation to SLA/KPI and costing
- Actively work to align site financial operations with agreed budget/target
- Ensure the provision of a safe working environment at the site and compliance with HSE standards
- Conduct Job Hazards Analysis (JHA)
- Collaborate closely with HSE Executive to plan, execute, and implement HSE procedures for all site activities
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Property Management or equivalent
- Must hold certification as a Data Centre Professional
- Possess 6-8 years of relevant experience in engineering or critical environment space
- Have 2-3 years of experience specifically in operating electrical and mechanical services in Tier III or equivalent data centers or critical facilities
- Competent and experienced in maintenance and operations of data centers and/or critical environment space
- High proficiency in interpersonal skills, capable of interacting effectively with various client and vendor personnel.
- Experienced in critical environments within a similar sized site or operation
- Skilled in implementing continuous improvement initiatives, managing client relationships, and preparing reports.
- Hands-on experience and knowledge in M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) and building-related systems, including CRAU (Computer Room Air Conditioning Units), chillers, PDU (Power Distribution Units), UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply), Switch Gears Ops, DX cooling, Network structure cabling, and Security systems
- Ability to lead major data center activities during non-office hours when necessary
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including technical writing and experience in developing business justifications (white papers)
