- Negotiate, review, and draft a wide range of commercial and procurement contracts, including but not limited to, transaction contracts, vendor agreements, licensing agreements, and service agreements.
- Analyze legal documents, identify risks, and provide actionable recommendations to internal stakeholders.
- Maintain a well-organized contract repository, ensuring that all contracts comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of contract templates and legal processes to streamline contract management.
- Stay updated about legal and regulatory developments relevant to commercial and procurement contracts in the financial sector.
- Provide support in resolving contract-related issues, disputes, and inquiries.
- Manage administrative tasks related to contract management, including meticulous record-keeping and efficient document retrieval.
- Law degree and a current legal license.
- Between 3-5 years of post qualified experience as a commercial lawyer in a reputable law firm acting for financial services clients or a major financial institution
- Demonstrable experience of working on large scale commercial contracts or procurement contract reviews for financial institutions is essential.
- Strong understanding of contract negotiation, regulatory frameworks, and industry best practices.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in contract management, record-keeping, and document management.
- Effective teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic legal environment.
