- Verify and process invoices, account payables & account receivables in the system and to reconcile the statement of accounts of suppliers and debtors
- Handle bank-related application and bank reconciliation
- Assists in month-end closing and assist in completing full set of accounts in a timely and accurate manner including reconciliations and supporting schedules
- Maintain organized documentation and filing of records to support all accounting entries
- Ensure timeliness and accuracy of financial data entries into accounting system are in compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements
- Investigate, reconcile, and resolve accounting discrepancies
- Assists on yearly audited accounts, audit coordination’s and tax matters
- Assists to prepare monthly/quarterly necessary documents as and when required by group
- Assume and carry out ad-hoc accounting projects or assignments
- Monitor and analyze financial performance metrics, prepare financial statements, and provide regular reports to management
- Manage full set of accounts and accounting functions to ensure accuracy and compliance with current accounting practices and principles
- Ensure timely submission of monthly accounts, management reports, forecasts, and maintain good budgetary controls
- Investigate, reconcile, and resolve accounting discrepancies
- Prepare and submit monthly SST
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate cash book entries on a day-to-day basis
- Assists on yearly audited accounts, audit coordination’s and tax matters
- Assists in drafting the quarterly announcement to Bursa Malaysia
- Assume and carry out ad-hoc accounting projects or assignments
- A Bachelor Degree in Accountancy or professional qualification in Accounting
- Proven experience at least 1 to 3 years in a related role (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply)
- Able to handle full set of accounts an advantage
- Able to concentrate on multiple problems at once
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Possess strong sense of responsibility, integrity, able to work under pressure and result oriented
- Organised and attention to details
- Able to work fairly independently and within deadlines
- Good communication skills in English and strong interpersonal skills
