- Degree in Electrical Engineering or any equivalent education.
- Certified A4/BO Charge man from Suruhanjaya Tenaga Malaysia (preferable).
- At least 2 years of hands on experience in manufacturing plant's or Building facilities and equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
- Supportive, independent and able to work in least supervisory.
- Good in people management and able to lead a team.
- Willing to work extra hours, or on call as required by the superior.
- Knowledge in Safety, Health and Environment is mandatory.
- Able to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
- Responsible for the efficient operation and maintenance of electrical, mechanical, air conditioning, firefighting, plumbing, HVAC, compressed air, cooling tower, chillers and building services of the plant.
- Responsible for all facility maintenance planning and execution.
- Ensure the requirements of quality and operations are met and to implement a total preventive and authority requirement.
- Maintenance system. Ensure 100% accuracy of preventive maintenance.
- To ensure all electricity supply connected to machinery and utilities are in safe condition to use.
- Develop cost reduction programs especially in electricity usage for the plant maintenance.
- To ensure that all the protection relays and switch gears are in a proper state of maintenance and calibration.
- To ensure the requirements of quality and operations (ISO Standards). Occupation Safety and Health and Environment System Control are met.
- Respond to emergency call when directed by department manager.
- Prioritize work to complete, assignment in a timely manner.
- Work closely with M&E contractor in improvement work.
- Responsible to monitor power consumption efficiency
- Carry out weekly testing of generator.
- Liaise with utilities provider such as TNB, BOMBA, ST & Other Authority when necessary
- Make recommendation to management on ways to improve the M&E system and facilities area.
- To participate in company activities pertaining to training, employee activity, firefighting, safety and health.
- Any other jobs as directed by Management.
