  • Identify, select, and manage suppliers and contractors for construction projects, ensuring alignment with project requirements and objectives.
  • Prepare comprehensive tender documents, including specifications, terms, and evaluation criteria, in collaboration with project teams and stakeholders.
  • Propose a comprehensive cost plan for any Tender submission for approval by the Committee. This allows the Committee to decide on the appropriate amount/strategy for the Tender submission.
  • Evaluate Vendor’s (subcontractors/suppliers/etc) submissions, analysing proposals, pricing, and qualifications to make informed recommendations for contract awards. Additionally, negotiate contracts and agreements with Vendors to secure favourable terms, pricing, and conditions, ensuring compliance with procurement regulations, standards, and company policies throughout the procurement process.

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimise costs, timelines, and quality for construction projects.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, finance teams, and other stakeholders to align procurement activities with project objectives and timelines.
  • Monitor supplier performance, including delivery schedules, quality of goods/services, and adherence to contract terms, and take corrective actions as needed.
  • Proactively identify risks and opportunities in procurement processes and implement mitigation strategies to minimise disruptions and maximise efficiency.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in procurement and tender management, incorporating relevant insights into procurement strategies and processes.
JOB REQUIREMENTS​
  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying
  • At least 5-8 years of working experience, preferably from a contractor/subcontractor background
  • Proven experience in procurement and tender management, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of sourcing trade subcontractors/ suppliers or raw materials/labor/ machinery etc.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
