ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES BO Chargeman Responsible for the plant electrical system including planning and operating safety precautions. Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on high-voltage transformers, switchgear, switch rooms, power generators, and building electrical systems. Support the team in maintenance activities and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical equipment to ensure smooth plant operations. Register and maintain Chargeman competency (under EDSB) with the Energy Commission of Malaysia in accordance with the Electricity Supply Act & Regulations. Utility/Facility Engineer Develop and implement facility management programs, including preventive and corrective maintenance plans. Coordinate with internal departments to resolve facility maintenance requests. Oversee upkeep, repair, and CAPEX projects involving mechanical, electrical, civil, and general infrastructure. Manage maintenance budgets, monitor downtime, and ensure cost-efficiency. Prepare and maintain facility SOPs and ensure compliance with ISO and HSE standards. Lead facility inspection, ensure industry code compliance, and support new building setups including budgeting. Generate monthly building and maintenance reports, providing recommendations for improvements. Lead and manage a team of Facility Technicians. Ensure all facility operations comply with internal standards, safety practices, and regulatory guidelines. REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Electrical, or a related technical field is preferred. Possess a valid Chargeman BO 11kV certificate issued by the Energy Commission of Malaysia (Suruhanjaya Tenaga). Minimum 3 years of working experience in the manufacturing industry, particularly in electrical systems maintenance and facilities management.
