About the Department The Technology and Operations function is comprised of five teams of specialists with distinct capabilities: business partnership, technology, operations, risk governance and planning support and services. We work closely together to harness the power of technology to support our physical and digital banking services and operations. This includes developing, centralising and standardising technology systems as well as banking operations in Singapore and overseas branches. Key Responsibilities Plan, monitor and report progress of project and application infrastructure to key stakeholders. Support Infrastructure Build team to delivery Projects and application infrastructure to internal project stakeholders and application delivery teams by agreed schedules Maintain infrastructure build standards, best practices, and comply with Bank's policies and standards Ensure smooth and successful transition to Day 2 team. Team management of engineers across different streams Managing and Operating Red Hat Linux, Windows VM Infrastructure Installation/Configuration/Hardening/Maintenance/Patching Maintain System Security Advanced Troubleshooting Performance Tuning Capacity Management Preventive/Proactive Support Incident/Change/Problem Management Provide system administration support and guidance for development team's app configuration tasks Veritas Clustering Setup on RHEL VM would be added advantage Chef Automation would be added advantage Managing and Operating VMware vSphere IT infrastructure Other IT Infrastructure Related Tasks Key Requirements Has 10-15 years Infra Project Management skill delivering large scale projects for infra pre & post deployments Good Stakeholder management High level technical understanding of Infrastructural technologies such as RHEL, Windows, Network, SAN storage, ESXi. Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and Windows Administration Intensive experience in supporting RHEL for JBOSS/WebSphere/WebLogic Intensive experience in supporting RHEL in DMZ is a must Professional understanding of networking related to RHEL or Windows Professional understanding of SAN Storage related to RHEL or Windows Good understanding of large Data Center Facilities operation Hands-On experience supporting various Infrastructure agents like NetBackup, BMC Patrol (Mid-Level) vSphere 5.x and 6.x Cross-team collaboration with storage, network, security and application delivery Technical leadership quality to handle technical challenge and sensitive situations Integrate the server automation process either by custom scripts or via third-party solutions(Chef) Candidate should have the drive and intellectual horsepower to resolve user issues and support them through telephone, email, or via chat services as applicable Strong communications skills Excellent spoken and written English communication skills Knowledge in Chef automation and Cookbook scripting is a plus
